We offer a wide range of ball hockey classes for ages (3-12) through the Parks & Community Services Departments in Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, and Redmond.
Our classes vary by season and by location.

PeeWee Ball Hockey (ages 3-6)
No ice, no skating, and no experience required. Anyone can play ball hockey.
McVander Hockey is excited to bring ball hockey to our youngest group of athletes.
Our experienced coaches will guide your little one through four classes exploring the game of ball hockey in a fun and supportive environment.
Our play-based program is full of exciting games that build basic hockey skills like stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Your toddler will have a blast.
All participants go home with our McVander Hockey t-shirt and wristband, and we have a special hockey-themed SWAG bag for them on the last day.

Introduction to Ball Hockey (ages 6-11)
No ice, no skating, and no experience required. Anyone can play ball hockey.
Join our Introduction-to-Hockey class and learn all about the great game of hockey.
Our experienced coaches will guide your little one through four classes exploring the game of ball hockey in a fun and supportive environment.
Classes are action-packed and so much fun. We’ll teach you the basics, and from there on out, it is play play play. Your child will have a blast.
All participants go home with our McVander Hockey t-shirt and wristband, and we have a special hockey-themed SWAG bag for them on the last day.

Ball Hockey Skills Series (ages 6-11)
Our experienced coaches will break down the fundamentals and increase your skills across three important categories - Stickhandling, Passing, and Shooting.
Your child will gain confidence as their basic hockey skills develop.
Our play-based style of teaching allows for your child to develop at their own pace, while still having a super fun time.
We will also send your child home with simple drills that they can practice on their own or with friends.
All participants go home with our McVander Hockey t-shirt and wristband, and we have a special hockey-themed SWAG bag for them on the last day.
Stickhandling (Ages 6-11)
Look for our Stickhandling Skills Series class in the fall of 2026.
This is one 75-minutes specialty class.

Girl-Power Ball Hockey (ages 6-11)
No ice, no skating, and no experience required. Anyone can play ball hockey.
This action-packed class introduces hockey fundamentals in an environment build just for girls.
Your daughers play in tennis shoes, while leearning teamwork, sportsmanship, and basic hockey skills like stickhnadling, passing, and shooting.
Our play-based program is full of exciting games, challenges, and fun-paced scrimmages. Your daughter will have a blast!
All participants go home with our McVander Hockey t-shirt and wristband, and we have a special hockey-themed SWAG bag for them on the last day.
Ages 6-11
Look for our Girl-Power class in the fall of 2026.
This class will meet for one hour, four times over consecutive weeks.
